Saltee Sauna

One of our favourite saunas in Ireland! Stunning views from the sauna and they think of everything. Make sure to check the tides as sometimes when it’s low tide it’s quite a walk to the sea. Defo head to The Grounds around the corner for a post swim brunch afterwards!

Would highly recommend the Saltee Sauna experience ! Myself and a friend travelled from Curracloe to on a beautiful calm morning yesterday. It was such a great start to the day. We didn’t get to dip in the sea but had the cold shower in between the sauna sessions. Conor is lovely and look after us. We will definitely be back!

Best woodfired sauna we’ve been to! Gorgeous view and very spacious. We were really glad to use the changing room, we’re used to shivering by the boot of our car 🥲. Tide was out on the day we went but thankfully there’s a cold shower just outside the sauna.

Fabulous experience. Firstly, the sauna itself is of very high quality and beautifully finished , like being in Scandinavia. Second, the view is stunning. Watching the ocean roll while you steam inside heightens the sense of relaxation and eases the senses. Finally, the host was charming and generous, providing us with lots of information about the area and what to do in the neighborhood. He even thought of little details like a shower. I could not rate this experience more highly. Sauna is good for the soul.

A Wonderful experience at Saltee Sauna easy to book Conor very friendly.Sauna spotless and location just perfect in beautiful Kilmore Quay would highly recommend it! So worth the drive from County Laois
