Contrast Wellness (Sauna & Cold Plunge)

We booked Contrast Wellness Sauna and Cold Plunge for a private event at Lion's Breath Yoga Studio. Graham was extremely professional, providing us with an e-book on the benefits of hot and cold therapy in advance of the event. Both men were very reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Graham arrived well in advance to set up for the afternoon. Right away, I could tell this was going to be an elevated experience. He chose the ideal location for the cold plunge and even brought water in his van to speed up the filling process. Graham also provided ice blocks. The sauna was super slick (black in colour) which included essential oils to add to the hot stone. It was also spotless inside, with a footpath before entering. He set up astroturf beneath the steps to the sauna and in front of the cold plunge to zone off the area and enhance the feeling underfoot. We were thrilled with the overall experience they provided and have booked them again. They were incredibly reliable and professional, very friendly to deal with, and I would absolutely recommend them.

Had a lovely Sunday Sauna with my friend Clare in Shannonbridge. Sauna and ice baths are kept cleaned to a high standard and washed every hour. Sauna has hooks at the side for your belongings which are safe. Love having the choice of the ice baths or the river. They have a little duck to tell you the temperature of the water which is handy. The owner is very friendly and good craic. I felt amazing after the hour. Will be back again for sure. Great experience.

Any time I’ve gone to the sauna in Shannon Bridge it’s been such a pleasant experience, it’s definitely one of my favourite social activities now, I love having a Sunday morning sauna booked and turning down a Saturday night of drinking because I’m so looking forward to my Sunday morning. Graham and Eamon are so friendly and are always very helpful with any questions I’ve had. I would highly recommend that anyone considering beginning their sauna/cold plunge journey to choose contrast wellness.
