The Hot Box Sauna Inchicore

Having lived in Finland for a couple of years, sauna became an integral part of my life. I’ve been trying all the saunas in Dublin for the last 3 years and I’m very impressed with the Hot box. I’ve never found an actual Finnish sauna (~110 degrees) before and they have a lot of options. I’m particularly happy with the silent sauna which is standard in the Nordics alongside more social options. The plunges are varied (temperate, freezing, warm), the changing rooms have a hair dryer (never seen that anywhere either). The sauna seats are a great touch for added comfort and hygiene, the atmosphere is very relaxing. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s probably obvious that it would get very busy at the weekends, which is why I choose to go on Monday morning which made for a very relaxing experience to Practice contrast Therapy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, after years of searching, I may have found the best Sauna in Dublin! Beyond the physical experience, learning about the different type of löyly (steam) is also very interesting and unique to this place. This place is the closest you’ll get to an actual sauna experience in Finland or Denmark as far as I can tell so don’t hesitate !

It was a good experience. It had a nice range of saunas and was about 50% full, so it had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly. Some of the saunas could have been a little cleaner, mainly just the floors, but overall, it was a modern and well-kept facility. The plunge pools were nicely integrated into the sauna area. I found the changing rooms clean and much better than other sauna places in Dublin. Minus one point for the lack of notice about the parking situation - it's a free-for-all in the industrial estate down the lane from the sauna itself. Perhaps pop a notice into your order email for this location that there is zero parking on site or immediately beside the sauna facility. On Google Maps / Earth, it looks like there is parking, but that's for the brewery next door - there were 3 of us who had to move our cars having parked inadvertently in their area. The Hot Box staff member was very polite though in communicating this.

Best sauna & cold plunge spot I’ve ever been to! A range of temperatures for both cold & hot so something to suit everyone! Absolutely brilliant activity, I feel amazing & can’t wait to come back already!

Great place, relaxing, great staff and helpful. The saunas are great with different temperatures, the same for the plunges. The dressing rooms are big. Great experience! 100% recommended

Excellent experience, many sauna options and 3 pool options for plunges. Felt amazing after it. You won't regret coming here!
